The Municipality of Anjar
To superintend the order and the distribution of supplies and food in Bassit, Mousadaghians created a central committee, having as leader Kevork Kalousdian. The committee carried out the mission of resolving the everyday problems and making the sufferings of the people more bearable, having as support the ARF "Garmir Ler” committee, who has become the warden and leader of Anjar since its establishment. The committee was able to handle the construction of the houses and take care of the medical needs of the villagers.
In 1941, the first municipality board, having seven members, was founded, while every village had its bailiff (Mkhtar)
After the distribution of the French houses, the first mayor of Anjar, Serop Sherbetchian, along with the municipality board, was able to secure the village and supply the immediate needs of the villagers.:
In 1947, when Hapet Aprahamian was mayor, the execution of setting up water pipes from the spring to the village started.
In 1952, while Setrag Tashjian was mayor, the apple trees were planted in the agricultural area of the village, the water pipes were set up successfully, and the roads were asphalted gradually.
The Hilfsbund German missionary had a huge clock built in the central square of the village, which served the villagers for a considerable period of time.
In 1962, the village was supplied with electricity, which became of great benefit for the prosperity and flourishing of the village.
In 1998, and after a long interruption, municipality elections took place when Sebouh Sekayan was elected as mayor who, with the newly elected municipality board, continued executing the projects in progress and planning for new projects for the welfare of the village.
Currently the mayor of Anjar is Garo Pamboukian having by his side the municipality board and the ARF "Garmir Ler” Committee.

Քաղաքապետական խորհուրդը գործակցաբար Քֆէրզապիթի քաղաքապետութեան կը յաջողի բնապահպանական կեդրոն մը ստեղծել Այնճարի լեռներուն վրայ ապահովելով բազմաթիւ միջազգային ընկերութիւններու օժանդակութիւնը:
