Coal Making

Mousadaghians in Bitias were skilled coal makers (Kerzila). The coal made from the woods of the thick forests of Mousa Dagh was exported to Antioch, Beirut, Haifa, etc…
Wood and wooden furniture were also sold to the neighboring countries mentioned above.
Other professions such as Ironsmith, Carpenter, shoe making, barbers’ art, and weaving, were also common in Mousa Dagh, which satisfied the local market and the needs of the Mousadaghians.
