The vigil of the commemoration of the 100 centennial of the Armenian genocide took place on April 23, at 8:00 pm in the "Hedvig” Hall, by the organization of the ARF LEM "Sh. Misakian Chapter.

The opening words of the event were said by Hovig Atamian.

The message of the day was conveyed by Raffi Ashkarian.

The 3 schools as well as the ARF Juniors participated in the Vigil with songs, poems and presentations dedicated to the Armenian Genocide.

Later the people present followed the HMEM fanfare to the "Mousadaghian Battle” monument where a prayer was held for the souls of the genocide victims and  flowers were placed near the monument.
